Tour description:

At the designated time our clients are picked up from the Callao Port in Lima. Our guide and driver will enter the port and will meet you at the designated dock number. Our guide representative will be at the gate holding a sign bearing your name. Once you had made contact with our guide, you will be directed to the vehicle and then you will start your tour. This tour offers the best combination of the different attractions that Lima offers.
We start off our tour with a great panoramic view of La Huaca Pucllana, an old pre-Inca construction dating back to 500 DC. Later on we will head towards the heart of the city to visit its colonial site. Once we get there we will start a nice walking tour that will take us to see various attractions of the city center. Among them stand out; The Paseo de la Republica (Promenade of the Republic), San Martin Square and the Plaza Mayor (Main Square), with their different buildings: Government Palace, Archibishop's Palace, the Basilica Cathedral and the Municipal Palace (city hall).
We continue our tour at the Convent of San Francisco, which was built in colonial times and still today keeps all the treasures from the Spanish era, including subterranean catacombs showiing hundreds of skeletons and skulls. After visiting the centre of Lima we will head to the modern section of this great metropolis and will visit the district of San Isidro passig through its Olive Grove. Later on we will visit the residential zona of Miraflores with its nice shopping center named Larco Mar, which was built on a spectacular cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Later on you will be driven back to your ship at the Callao Port.

Recommendations:

• On this tour you must bring light clothing, as the weather on the southern coast used to be hot, especially in summer time (from December to March) when temperatures can reach 35 º C / 104 ºF sometimes. If travelling during winter time (June to August) then wear warm cloting.
