Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to discover the wonders of the Peruvian coast.
We start our adventure at 04:30 am with a pickup service directly from your hotel in Lima.
Our comfortable private transportation will take us to Paracas Bay, which is located approximately 3 hours away from Lima.
Upon our arrival in Paracas, we will head to the local pier where we will take a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands.
On the way to the islands, you will see an incredible design on the slope of a hill, which is known locally as The Candelabra.
As soon as we get near the Candelabra, the captain will stop the boat for photos.
Shortly afterward, we continue towards the Ballestas Islands.
Once we reach the Ballestas Islands, you will witness hundreds of marine birds and large colonies of sea lions resting on the beaches.
You may also spot some Humboldt penguins near their caves.
After the tour, we will return to the main land to continue our trip on the Nazca desert.
Upon arrival in Nazca, our driver will take you to the local airdrome.
Upon arrival, our guide will provide a briefing on the Nazca Lines, sharing popular theories and interesting facts about this enigmatic site.
To help you recognize the figures from above, our guide will give each participant a Nazca Lines Map.
Before boarding the airplane, our experienced pilot will also provide safety instructions and tips to ensure that you fully enjoy your flight.
Once on board the small plane with 5 seats, each passenger will have a window seat for an unobstructed view of the desert landscape.
The flight lasts for 35 minutes, allowing you to see many amazing drawings.
Among them, you will see representations of animals such as a whale, a monkey, and a dog.
You’ll also see various birds, including a condor, a hummingbird, and a heron, some as large as 3 soccer fields.
One of the most striking figures is the Astronaut, a strange creature with a large head and big eyes.
Unlike other drawings, the astronaut was drawn on a hillside rather than on the surface of the desert.
As the pilot circles each figure, passengers will get a great view from both sides of the plane.
You’ll also see hundreds of straight lines crisscrossing the desert surface in all directions.
After this amazing flight, we will take you in downtown for lunch.
Finally we will return to Lima, gettting there around 21:00 hrs.
