Part I: Colonial Lima.

Our City Tour of Lima starts at your hotel, where our guide will pick you up. We begin our tour by driving to Lima’s downtown, a trip that takes approximately 30 minutes. Along the way, you’ll enjoy the evolving cityscape. Once we arrive, we dive into the vibrant atmosphere of Lima’s heart.
Here, we walk around the Historical Center of Lima, where you will see important monuments and Colonial edifices. The sightseeing includes the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the Cathedral. As we walk, you’ll admire the stunning façades of these historic landmarks and learn about their rich history, all while experiencing the charm of Lima’s colonial architecture.

Part II: San Francisco Convent.

In addition, we also visit the interiors of the San Francisco Convent, which displays the largest collection of religious art.
Besides the old atmosphere, this site will give you an impressive inside into how religious life was during colonial times.
The San Francisco convent is also well known for its library, which contains thousands of antique books from the Spanish era.
Likewise, the convent also displays great colonial paintings and as well as fine furniture.
Among the paintings stands out the Last Supper, which portrays Peruvian meals rather than European dishes.
 

Part III: San Francisco Catacombs.
