Full Trip Description
Day 1º: Welcome to the City of Lima.
Welcome to Peru! Arrive at your hotel in Lima.
Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative at the airport of Lima.
Afterwards, our driver will transfer you to your hotel located at the residential zone of Miraflores.
Miraflores is an ideal place to stay. With its captivating blend of safety and charm.
You can explore the stunning coastline, indulge in delectable cuisine at trendy restaurants.
The district’s well-maintained streets and friendly atmosphere ensure a secure and enjoyable stay.
Overnight at the Hotel Casa Andina Standard Miraflores *** or similar.

Day 2°: Jungle of Tambopata.
Flight to the Jungle of Tambopata.
At the designated time, transfer to the airport to take a flight to Puerto Maldonado. Upon arrival, our local guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to our nearby office. After, we’ll drive 20 kilometers to the local port in the Community of Infierno. From there, it’s a 50-minute river journey to Posada Amazonas Lodge, offering glimpses of Tambopata rainforest along the way. Lunch will be served onboard. By the afternoon, we’ll embark on our first jungle excursion to a Canopy Tower, offering panoramic rainforest views. Overnight at the Posada Amazonas ***.

- Pick up at the airport + Transfer to the jungle lodge. Lunch.

Day 3°: Exploring Tambopata.
Jungle Tours – Posada Amazonas.
After an early breakfast, we’ll take a brief boat trip to Tres Chimbadas Oxbow Lake. Upon arrival, we’ll stroll along a path through towering trees and lush vegetation to reach the lake. Here, we’ll board a catamaran to search for river otters and other wildlife, such as caimans, hoatzins, and horned screamers. After about 2 hours, we’ll return to Posada Amazonas Lodge for free time until lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll embark on another short boat ride to Centro Ñape’s medicinal garden. Here, a native guide will lead us on a trail, showcasing a unique collection of medicinal plants native to Tambopata. Eventually, we’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4°: Flight to Cusco.
Welcome to the Inca Capital of Cusco !
At the designated time, our guide will lead you down to the river dock where we will take the boat back to Puerto Maldonado. Depending on airline schedules, your journey back to the city might require dawn departures.
Once at Puerto Maldonado Airport, we will flight to the Inca capital of Cusco.
Like many Andean cities, Cusco is situated at a high altitude (3300 m) therefore the weather is usually cold. Upon arrival in Cusco, our guide meets you at the airport and then drives you to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel Casa Andina Standard Cusco *** or similar.

- Flight tickets from Puerto Maldonado to the city of Cusco.

Day 5°: City Tour of Cusco.
Explore Inca Ruins and Colonial Art.
09:00 h. We will do a City Tour, visiting the City’s Highlights located in and around Cusco.
We start off by visiting the huge “Inca Ceremonial Center of Sacsayhuaman“. This enormous Inca structures overlooks the city of Cusco. Later on we will visit “Qenqo“. This is a place with subterranean passages and carved stone channels in a zigzag pattern. In its inner part there is a carved stone table where it is said the Incas mummified their deads. Afterwards we visit to the archaeological Inca site of “Tambomachay“, a temple dedicated to the God of Water. Following our schedule, we will return to Cusco down town to visit “The Temple of Koricancha“. Koricancha was the most important religious temple of the Inca Empire. Finally we will visit the beautiful “Cathedral of Cusco”. This enormous Cathedral was built in the XVI. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel Casa Andina Standard Cusco *** or similar.

Day 6°: Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Sacred Valley Tour – Train to Aguas Calientes.
At 07:30 a.m. Our guide meets you at the hotel in Cusco, and then we start the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop is the textile center of Awanacancha, where you’ll see Andean Camels like Vicuñas and Alpacas. Next, we head to Pisac, an Inca citadel featuring the Intiwatana stone and a vibrant market. After exploring Pisac, we’ll lunch at a typical Andean restaurant before continuing to the Ruins of Ollantaytambo. Following a private visit to the ruins, we’ll board a train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, our representative will escort you to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel Casa Andina Machu Picchu *** or similar.

Day 7°: Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
Private Tour to the Citadel of Machu Picchu.
06:00 h. After breakfast, our local guide meets you at the hotel lobby. Shortly afterward, we take a tourist bus up to the ruins of Machu Picchu. The bus ride lasts only twenty minutes, but, offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
Upon our arrival, our guide will show you the most remarkable sights of Machu Picchu.
Among the buildings, we will visit the Sun Temple, the Solar Clock, the Condor temple and others. Likewise, we also visit the Inti Watana altar, a magnificent spot at the heart of Machu Picchu. Eventually, we will take the bus down to the village of Aguas Calientes.Free time for lunch. Finally, we head to the station to take the train back to Cusco. Upon your arrival in Cusco, our driver picks you up at the station and then drives you to your hotel. Overnight at the Hotel Casa Andina Standard Cusco *** or similar.
