Join us on this full-day adventure and hike throughout the beautiful landscapes of Vinicunca.
Along the route, hikers will enjoy not only amazing views but also see herds of llamas.
03:00 h. Our tour starts at your hotel in Cusco. Our guide will pick you from there.
Shortly after that, we travel to the community of Quesiuno (4,320 masl), which is located 3 hours away from Cusco.
Upon arrival in Quesiuno, we will have breakfast at a little restaurant.
Soon after breakfast, we will begin our hike, following a steep climbing path towards the Rainbow Mountain located at 5,100 m.
The hike will be led by a local guide quite knowledgeable of the zone.
On our way, you will see traditional shepherd’s houses, and herds of llamas and alpacas.
Once we reach the Rainbow Mountain, all your efforts will be rewarded by the magnificent view of the Asungate Glacier (6385 m)
Likewise, you will have free time to explore the area and take pictures. We will spend about 1 hour at the site.
Finally, we will descend to the community of Quesiuno where we will take a minivan towards Hanchipacha community for lunch.
Soon after lunch, we will drive back to the city of Cusco, getting into town around 20:00 hrs.
Upon arrival, our driver will drop you off at your hotel.
