From the top, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of some of the most iconic geoglyphs: the Tree, the Frog, and the Lizard. These immense desert figures remain a mystery, inviting speculation about their origin and purpose. This stop sets the tone for a day of discovery, as we journey deeper into the heart of ancient Peru.
Part II: Ancient Palpa Geoglyphs and Pre-Inca Symbolism
We continue toward the Palpa Valley, where another layer of Peru’s ancient heritage is revealed. Here you’ll witness the Palpa Lines, a series of hillside drawings etched long before the Nazca Lines, attributed to the Paracas Culture.
