Tour Description
Part I: Private Transport to the Caral Ruins.
Our tour to the Ruins of Caral starts right at your hotel in Lima, our guide will pick you up from there.
Shortly after we drive to the north of Lima towards the lost city of Caral.
Upon arrival, we will meet a local guide who will show us around.
Part II: Guided Tour in Caral.
This Sacred City is located on a dry desert overlooking the green valley of the Supe river.
We will have a walk around to see the pyramids, some fully excavated and other recently discovered.
Among the buildings, we will find a spot known as, Sacred Fire, a little temple containing a fireplace.
Later on, we will stumble upon one of the most outstanding buildings of Caral known as the Amphitheater.
Unlike the others buildings, this amphitheater features a circular plaza.
Due to its shape, the archaeologist believes it was used for religious ceremonies.
Afterward, we will reach the Greater Pyramid, a large building located in a dominating position within the urban plan of Caral.
It was perhaps the most important building in Caral heydays.
Part III: Lunch and Return to Lima.
After exploring the site, we will head to the modern town of Caral for lunch.
Finally, we will drive back to Lima.
Upon arrival, our driver will take you back to your hotel.
