Arriving at the archaeological site, we explore Huaca Cao Viejo, a massive adobe pyramid adorned with stunning high-relief friezes that depict warriors, ceremonies, and sacrifices. Then, we enter the Cao Museum, where you’ll meet the legendary Lady of Cao, whose well-preserved body and intricate tattoos reveal a powerful female leader of the Moche era.
