The next morning, enjoy a spectacular 1-hour flight over the Nazca and Palpa Lines, including the famous Astronaut, the mysterious Star or Mandala geoglyph, and several human-like figures etched into the desert hillsides. After this unforgettable aerial experience, return to Lima, arriving at your hotel at approximately 5:00 pm.

Day 1: Following the Clues of an Ancient Enigma.
Our tour begins with a pick-up from your Lima hotel by our private driver at 07:00 h. We drive south to the Pisco Valley, where we explore the mysterious band holes of Monte Sierpe. These enigmatic formations, often referred to as “The Band of Holes,” set the stage for an intriguing adventure, sparking curiosity and wonder about their origins and purpose.
Continuing to the city of Ica, we visit a museum featuring elongated human skulls, believed to be the result of ancient cranial deformation practices. These skulls offer fascinating insights into ancient rituals and cultures, provoking thought and discussion.
Afterward, we head further south to explore the Palpa Valley by land. Here, you’ll see lesser-known yet stunning geoglyphs etched into the desert floor. These geoglyphs, often overshadowed by the Nazca Lines, are equally captivating and provide a broader understanding of the region’s ancient inhabitants.
We then visit the Palpa and Nazca Lines observation towers. These towers offer unique perspectives and insights into the ancient creations, allowing you to appreciate the scale and intricacy of the geoglyphs. Our day concludes in Nazca, where we spend the night at a comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Flight Above Peru’s Greatest Unsolved Mystery
On the second day, we embark on a special one-hour flight over the Palpa and Nazca Lines. This flight provides an unparalleled view of these incredible geoglyphs, allowing you to fully appreciate their grandeur and detail.
In Palpa, we will see the bizarre geoglyph known as the Star or Mandala, a strange and intricate drawing very different from those found on the Nazca plateau. Additionally, we will witness the amazing Astronaut geoglyph etched on a hillside and various other human-like figures on the hillsides of Palpa. These unique geoglyphs add an extra layer of mystery and fascination to your aerial tour.
After this captivating aerial experience, we begin our journey back to Lima. We will stop for lunch along the road, giving you a chance to relax and reflect on the wonders you have seen. Our driver will then drop you off at your hotel in Lima, concluding this remarkable adventure at around 5:00 pm.
