Real Destinations, Real Experiences

“Comfort, views, and adventure—your desert path to the Nazca Lines”

Enjoy a comfortable private trip from Ica or Huacachina to Nazca, traveling through one of Peru’s most scenic desert regions. Along the way, admire vast sand dunes, rocky valleys, and remote Andean foothills. This exclusive ride offers not only comfort but also stunning views that set the tone for an unforgettable day.

“Meet the forgotten figures carved into Palpa’s hills”

On the way to Nazca, we stop in the Palpa desert, where visitors can observe unique human-shaped geoglyphs from the ground. Unlike the Nazca Lines, these ancient figures appear on hillsides and depict mysterious beings with arms raised or elaborate headgear. This rare ground-level view brings you closer to the ancient culture behind the lines.

“Nazca Tower: A Different Angle on the Nazca Lines”

Before reaching the airport, we stop at a metal tower overlooking the Nazca desert. From its platform, you’ll enjoy a unique perspective of famous figures like the Tree and the Hands, as well as long straight lines and massive geometric designs. This stop adds depth to the experience, letting you see the lines both from land and sky.

“Flying Over Peru’s Greatest Enigma”

This 35-minute flight offers stunning aerial views of the Nazca Lines, one of archaeology’s biggest puzzles. As you fly over massive animals, plants, and abstract shapes, you’ll marvel at how these perfect designs remained hidden for centuries—until seen from the air.

“A UNESCO Wonder You Must See from the Sky”

Flying over the Nazca Lines isn’t just another tour, it’s a bucket-list moment. These ancient desert drawings are so unique and powerful that UNESCO declared them a World Heritage Site. Seeing them from above connects you to a mystery the world has vowed to protect forever.

“Built by Humans… or Something Else?”

The origin of the Nazca Lines remains one of archaeology’s greatest mysteries. How did ancient people create such perfect shapes without flying? Some believe they were messages to the gods—or even landing strips for extraterrestrials. The answers are still buried in the desert.

    Full Itinerary

Part 1: Scenic Journey Through the Desert.
Our trip begins at 7:00 am with hotel pick-up from Ica or the enchanting Huacachina Oasis. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you’ll travel south in private transport across the vast and lifeless desert of Ica. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights into the culture, astronomy, and mystery surrounding the Nazca Culture and its world-famous geoglyphs.
After approximately one hour of travel, we reach the Palpa Valley, a hidden gem surrounded by rugged hills and dry riverbeds. Here, we make our first stop to explore one of the least-known but truly remarkable parts of the journey: the human-shaped geoglyphs of Palpa. These ancient figures, etched into hillsides, depict mysterious humanoid forms believed to predate even the Nazca Lines. You’ll have the unique chance to observe them from the ground, a rare perspective that adds depth to the overall experience.
Part 2: Tower Views and Approaching the Mystery.
We then continue driving deeper into the desert, watching the landscape shift into the brown and redish tones of the Nazca Plateau. Before reaching the airport, we stop at the Nazca Lines metallic viewing tower, strategically placed in the heart of the geoglyph zone. From the top, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of figures such as The Tree, The Hands, and several long straight lines stretching endlessly across the plain. This elevated view offers a powerful preview of what’s to come.
Part 3: The Flight Experience and Return to Ica.
Soon after, we arrive in the city of Nazca, where the real highlight of the day begins: the scenic flight over the Nazca Lines. The flight lasts approximately 35 minutes, offering clear views of over a dozen iconic geoglyphs, including the Monkey, Hummingbird, Spider, Condor, Astronaut, and more. As the aircraft circles each figure, your pilot will tilt the wings to both sides so everyone gets the perfect view and photo opportunity.
After the flight, you’ll have free time in Nazca to relax and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant of your choice. When ready, we begin the comfortable return trip to Ica, arriving at your hotel around 3:00 pm.
