During the flight, marvel at vast geometric designs that some believe were ancient runways for extraterrestrial visitors. Among the highlights are:
The Astronaut: Etched on a hill slope, this figure is debated as either an astronaut or a shaman.
The Monkey: Measuring 90 meters, this figure symbolizes drought cycles and has connections to star constellations.
The Dog: A small but significant drawing, possibly representing a deity.
The Hummingbird: Perfectly preserved, this figure aligns with the summer solstice.
The Spider: Represents fertility and rain, as it appears before precipitation.
The Condor: Features a line pointing to the summer solstice sunset.
The Flamingo: The longest figure, with its beak pointing to the winter solstice sunrise.
The Parrot: A large figure surrounded by geometric designs and the Ingenio Valley.
Hands and Huarango Tree: Visible near the Pan-American Highway, with the Lizard figure partially destroyed by highway construction.
Palpa Region: Includes a bird with a face-like feature and a star-shaped stone formation.
