Discover the Nazca Lines on a full-day tour from Lima with private transportation and a scenic flight over Peru’s most famous geoglyphs. Experience a UNESCO World Heritage Site in comfort and style.

Our guide picks you up from your Lima hotel, and we embark on a scenic drive south to the Nazca Valley, enjoying views of the Pacific Ocean and the Ingenio Valley along the way. Upon arrival at the Nazca airport, you’ll receive a safety briefing and a map of the archaeological zone. You then board a small aircraft for an aerial tour of the Nazca Lines, spotting famous figures such as the Whale, Astronaut, Monkey, and Hummingbird. After the flight, we return to Nazca for lunch and visit the iconic metallic observation tower in the Nazca desert for additional views of the lines. We head back to Lima, arriving around 20:00 h.
Part I: From Lima to the Nazca Valley
At 05:00 h, our guide will pick you up directly from your hotel in Lima. Soon after, we’ll begin our southbound journey along the legendary Pan-American Highway. As we travel, enjoy scenic views of the Pacific coastline and the serene beauty of the Peruvian desert. Passing through the lush Ingenio Valley, we’ll eventually arrive at the Nazca airport. Here, our pilot will greet you, provide a safety briefing, and hand you a flight map for reference before your aerial adventure begins.
Part II: Flight over the Nazca Plateau
Shortly after takeoff, your aircraft will soar above the Nazca plateau. Crossing the Nazca River, we’ll soon encounter our first geoglyph: the enormous Whale, stretching 65 meters in length. To give you the best view, the pilot will circle the figure. As the flight continues, you’ll spot vast triangles and rectangles etched into the desert—some resembling airstrips. Soon, the mysterious Astronaut figure, or Owl Man, will come into view, uniquely situated on a hillside.
Part III: Exploring More Enigmatic Shapes
Next, we’ll fly toward the captivating Monkey geoglyph, one of the most famous of all. A few kilometers beyond, the Hummingbird comes into sight—remarkably well-preserved and graceful. On the slope of the Ingenio Valley, we’ll discover the Heron, an immense bird nearly the size of three soccer fields, featuring a zig-zag beak. Nearby, you’ll also witness the Parrot, the Tree, and the Frog geoglyphs. After this incredible aerial tour, we return to the Nazca airport where our driver awaits.
From there, we’ll head into Nazca town for a relaxing lunch. Later, we’ll make a final stop at the Nazca desert’s metallic observation tower. Climb to the top for a final glimpse of ancient animal shapes and intersecting lines from a different angle. By around 20:00 h, we’ll arrive back in Lima and drop you off at your hotel.
