Whether you are a seasoned sandboarder or a novice seeking to experience this exhilarating activity for the first time, there will be dunes perfectly suited to your level of expertise.
After Huacachina, we continue our trip to the mysterious Nazca desert, located further south.
Upon arrival in Nasca, our guide will provide a briefing on the Nazca Lines, sharing popular theories and interesting facts about this enigmatic site.
To help you recognize the figures from above, our guide will give each participant a Nazca Lines Map.
Before boarding the airplane, our experienced pilot will also provide safety instructions and tips to ensure that you fully enjoy your flight.
Once on board the small plane with 5 seats, each passenger will have a window seat for an unobstructed view of the desert landscape.
The flight lasts for 35 minutes, allowing you to see many amazing drawings.
Among them, you will see representations of animals such as a whale, a monkey, and a dog.
You’ll also see various birds, including a condor, a hummingbird, and a heron, some as large as 3 soccer fields.
One of the most striking figures is the Astronaut, a strange creature with a large head and big eyes.
Unlike other drawings, the astronaut was drawn on a hillside rather than on the surface of the desert.
As the pilot circles each figure, passengers will get a great view from both sides of the plane.
You’ll also see hundreds of straight lines crisscrossing the desert surface in all directions.
After this amazing flight, we will take you in downtown for lunch.
Finally we will return to Lima, gettting there around 21:00 hrs.
